Journalling With Jesus - The Boat In The Middle Of The Ocean

Thank You, Jesus, for choosing me.

Thank You, Jesus, for surrendering your life on the cross to save my life.

Thank You, Jesus, for coming down from heaven, mounted on a mighty angelic being, to rescue me from all my enemies.

Thank You, Jesus, for lifting me out of the miry clay.

Thank You, Jesus, for giving me the eyes to see and ears to hear.

Thank You, Jesus, for removing the scales from my eyes in 2019.

Thank You, Jesus, for taking out of me my heart of stone and giving me a new, tender, responsive heart of flesh.

Thank You, Jesus, for your love for every single man, woman, teenager and child walking the earth.

Thank You, Jesus, for your faithfulness, even when we are faithless.

Jesus, I ask you to take me away. Take me somewhere. Give me a vision, an experience, an encounter with you, where you will give wisdom and revelation not just to me, but to my brothers and sisters too.

Thank You, Jesus.

The Vision - In The Middle Of The Ocean

Jesus, I am with You now in a small wooden boat, in the middle of the ocean. The ocean is completely still.

There are no clouds in the sky. The sun is shining down upon us.

As I look all around me, all I can see is the ocean. There is total and complete stillness. Total peace. Total beauty.

I am as my 8 year old self. I have my shorts and t-shirt on, and neither of us have anything on our feet. It is just me and you sat in a small wooden boat in the middle of the ocean. The ocean is completely still.

Jesus, what are you revealing to me here?

My beloved son Paul, this small wooden boat with just you and me in it, represents that I am always, always with you, every single moment of your life. Once you have me in your life, you don't need anyone else. I will never leave you nor forsake you. We will always be together.

The ocean where we are right now, that is completely still without any waves, represent your life in me when you truly realise that I am for you and not against you, for if I am for you, who can ever be against you?

Until my children are intentionally intimate in desiring to be in a deepening, relationship with me, even though I am with them, the ocean that they are on is not still. The waves of the ocean continue to come against the boat. There isn't the stillness, the profound peace that you are experiencing right now, in the middle of this vast ocean with complete stillness.

I am the Prince of Peace. The peace that I give you is a gift the world cannot give you.

My beloved son Paul, you know that it was when you saw my Words “Come, follow me. I will teach you to be a fisher of men” that I began to open your eyes to the truth that I love you, that I surrendered my life on the cross to save your life, and that I had chosen you to be one of my disciples.

This ocean that is all around, whichever way you look, to the north, to the south, to the east, to the west, all around you the stillness of this ocean represents the scale of the harvest that is all around you every single day.

Underneath this ocean of stillness are hundreds of millions of fish, and these fish are waiting to be caught.

My beloved son Paul, tell your brothers and your sisters, the people in the world who don't yet believe in me, who haven't yet given their life to me, they haven't yet met one of my disciples. They have heard about me through people and through religion, but they haven't yet met you. My beloved son Paul, they haven't met yet your brothers and your sisters who I have chosen to be my hands and feet upon the earth.

Thank you, my beloved son Paul, for coming with me out into the middle of this vast ocean, to sit with me and to talk to me in our little boat.

Come, let's go and lay down our nets, it is time to continue fishing for men.
