Soul Prison Ministry

As I write these words the date is Sunday 28th July 2024, it would have been back in around 2020 when I began thinking about how valuable it will be for me to get the opportunity to go in to prisons and tell prisoners about the love of Jesus.

Within this last 7 days, on what was the final hours before our dad John Rouke was turning 78 years young on Thursday 25th July 2024, through my sister in Christ, glory carrier Rene Vaughn, God has taken me to a whole new level of revelation, authority and purpose.

For the 1st time in my 5 years walk of consecration and obedience with Jesus, I have started going down to the soul prison in hell with Jesus to see captives truly set free.

First, some scriptures…

Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit. So he went and preached to the spirits in prison— those who disobeyed God long ago when God waited patiently while Noah was building his boat. Only eight people were saved from drowning in that terrible flood.

1 Peter 3:18-20

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.

Isaiah 61:1

Of course, your former friends are surprised when you no longer plunge into the flood of wild and destructive things they do. So they slander you. But remember that they will have to face God, who stands ready to judge everyone, both the living and the dead. That is why the Good News was preached to those who are now dead —so although they were destined to die like all people, they now live forever with God in the Spirit.

1 Peter 4:4-6

Soon all you captives will be released! Imprisonment, starvation, and death will not be your fate!

Isaiah 51:14

God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. But he makes the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.

Psalms 68:6

Listen to me and return these prisoners you have taken, for they are your own relatives. Watch out, because now the Lord’s fierce anger has been turned against you!”

2 Chronicles 28:11

He gives justice to the oppressed and food to the hungry. The Lord frees the prisoners. The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are weighed down. The Lord loves the godly.

A Testimony

Since Jesus Christ saved my life in 2019, at the time of writing I have had 5 specific 1-1 encounters with different men, who became so angry with me that they desperately wanted to cause me serious harm - with a few of the men desiring to kill me, without trying to sound sensationalist in any way.

I thank God for His divine protection each and every time, meaning that none of the 5 men caused me any harm at all. After all, no weapons formed against me shall prosper.

The most recent encounter took place around 4 days after I was first taken down to the soul prison with Jesus, to see family members being set free from their prison cells they had lived in all their lives.

I saw two men near a car close to where I had just parked up, and if I wasn’t a disciple of Jesus, let me just say that they weren’t men that you would like go out of your way to strike up a conversation with. As I was unpacking my car, one of the men said to me “I bet you must get warm with that long hair”.

This was God’s way of opening up a conversation between myself and these 2 chosen disciples of Jesus. As our conversation progressed I was sharing some parts of my testimony, and it was clear that certain challenges and abuse that I had suffered were very relatable to one of the two men. I noticed he was becoming agitated and started pacing around, and he told me he has ADHD.

As I continued to share about battling with poor mental health, and sometimes feeling helpless and hopeless, the man was getting visibly angry, and then he suddenly told me to “F@@K OFF”.

I gently ended the conversation and went on my way. The following morning the Spirit led me to pray for this man, during which time Jesus took me down to his prison cell. In this vision the man was like a raging bull inside his prison cell, but all glory to God, his prison door was unlocked and the door was opened.

Three Days After The Man Told Me To “F@@K OFF”

Three days after I first saw this man with his friend, I saw him again. When he saw me he started walking towards me, but he was different to 3 days ago. He was walking over calmly and almost a bit scared. He said to me:

“I just want to apologise for the other night. I shouldn’t have told you to F@@K OFF. It was wrong. I don’t even know why I’m doing this now, I wouldn’t normally do this, but I just want to apologise”.

I thanked him for coming over to apologise, I said I respected him for doing this, and I said that I apologise for sharing things personal to me which clearly affected him because of his life experiences.

We did a fist pump together and went our separate ways.

With all my heart I know that if it wasn’t for the prayers the following day after our 1st encounter, this clearly tormented man wouldn’t have come over apologising to me in the way he did.

“The Rooms in the Prison”

The Lord gave me a another vision of the “City of Captivity” in the Second Heaven. This time He showed me the “rooms” in the prison.

This city is the devil’s counterfeit of the New Jerusalem. I described this city in a previous post and explain that it is also built with “living stones” which are the spirits and souls of men. (Rev 18:13). When we sin or are abused then a part of our soul is taken captive and is imprisoned in this “city”.

This revelation was shown to me as “rooms in a house” but they were also jail cells with prisoners held captive inside of them.

The souls had been taken captive through sin, idolatry, and abuse.

Let’s take a tour of this “house”…

In the BEDROOM are the prisoners of sexual sin. Such as homosexuality, pornography, Fornication, Adultery, Incest, etc. This could be through personal sin or because of rape or abuse that happened to them. Many people have soul-ties with sexual partners or abusers that have taken their soul captive.

In the DRESSING ROOM are the souls those who idolize clothing, shopping, and worldly beauty. This is the Idol of Vanity and Self. Our soul is taken captive when we worship the idol of Self.

In the DINING ROOM are the prisoners who were taken captive through the idolatry of Food. Their souls have been taken captive through food addictions. Food has become their “lover” and they have a soul-tie with Food.

In the FAMILY ROOM are those who have erected an idol of family members. They worship at the Idol of Family. Once again they have ungodly soul-ties that have taken part of their soul captive.

In the BAR are those who are addicted to alcohol and partying. They have been taken captive by another “spirit”.

The MEDIA ROOM is the entertainment area where people are who idolize their television, movies, Sports, the internet, social media, and video games. This idol has captured their soul.

In the OFFICE are the souls that have been taken by the love of money and the idol of Work. They worship the idol of Mammon.

The BASEMENT was a DUNGEON filled with souls taken captive through torture and torment. These are the souls taken captive through violence, rape, and the torment inflicted by others. The SRA victims are also imprisoned here.

Right now the Lord is focused on rescuing our soul parts out of captivity. If you think you’ve been taken captive into one of these prison cells then pray this prayer with me:

Lord Father, You are my Rescuer and Deliverer. I ask You to show me any area where my soul has been taken captive. I repent for the sin or idolatry that has opened the door to allow the enemy to take me captive. Lord, please give me the strength and the wisdom to break free. Please reveal to me any soul fragments that need to be rescued out of this spiritual prison. Lord, I forgive everyone who has hurt me or abused me and I release them to You. I break the ungodly soul-ties and I cut myself free, in Jesus’ name.

Amen.

Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; The snare is broken, and we have escaped.

Ecc 7:26

I find more bitter than death the woman who is a snare, whose heart is a trap and whose hands are chains. The man who pleases God will escape her, but the sinner she will ensnare.

Ezekiel 13:20-21

20 ‘Therefore thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I am against your magic charms by which you hunt souls there like birds. I will tear them from your arms, and let the souls go, the souls you hunt like birds.

21 I will also tear off your veils and deliver My people out of your hand, and they shall no longer be as prey in your hand. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.

Prov 2:16-18

Wisdom will save you also from the adulterous woman,

from the wayward woman with her seductive words,

17 who has left the partner of her youth and ignored the covenant she made before God.

18 Surely her house leads down to death and her paths to the spirits of the dead.

1 Tim 6:9-10

9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.

10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

1 John 2:15-17

15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.

16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.

17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.
