Different Waves
This word, received in 2021, is for today, “for such a time as this!”
I'm seeing waves. Not the sea. Not tidal waves. Air waves. I'm seeing these waves and I know that I know they are airwaves and further revelation from Holy Spirit tells me they are waves of this next move of God. Some would say they are waves of revival, but it's more than that. It's waves of Gods power surging across the land bringing shaking, change, and revival. BUT which land? I didn't recognise any part of it. It was rather like watching ethereal wisps of mist in the early morning.
I could sense the power in these waves as they passed through my vision and they seemed to be getting stronger and stronger. Suddenly, as I watched the waves passing from apparently uninhabited land to a town, I saw the waves surround a building until it collapsed. The ground shook as the buildings fell - it was like watching a professional demolition as none of the surrounding buildings were damaged at all. This happened two or three times until the waves came across a street with three churches in it. Two of the churches collapsed too, but the third one remained standing. The waves moved on doing the same thing in every street they came to - one or two buildings fell, but many remained standing. Even in residential areas, the same pattern was followed!
I was simply an observer, apparently cocooned safely away or somehow separated from these waves. Holy Spirit indicated to me to look back where the waves had been. I saw people celebrating beside the rubble of each destroyed building except the churches. There, people were gathered looking somewhat shocked and angry but, after a few moments, a few of them moved off towards the church that was still standing where another group of people were celebrating. It was all surreal, rather like an apocalypse movie.
All of a sudden, the waves seemed to converge, twisting together, forming a tornado-like column with dark, angry, clouds swirling about. The column then seemed to take off across country at high speed until, approaching another town or city, it slowed down and dispersed into the wave formations I had first seen. Then the waves started through the next town in the same manner I had seen previously.
Then I realised what I was watching - the long prophesied shaking of all that can be shaken, with some not unexpected results! Churches and businesses alike were shaken to destruction where they failed Holy Spirit inspection! Many people rejoiced when some businesses fell. Many were shocked and saddened when some of the churches fell. Yet some were angry at the destruction and they tried to take their angst out on anyone they could find.
Just as the vision faded, I heard the voice of the Lord. “Tell My people this shaking is coming. Tell them to trust Me despite all that they will see and hear, for this shaking is already causing many to turn to Me, and you shall see the goodness of the Lord in your lives!”
This shaking, prophesied in Hebrews 12:26-29, is real; it's coming, and indeed may be here. So much revelation yet to come, as will shake us to our foundations, will bring with it a holy and reverential fear of a Holy God. Then we may see revival as people turn once more to God as He reveals His power and His glory. It is upon us - right now!
